Our Raw Irish moss is 100% Wildcrafted (Chondrus Crispus) from the coast of Maine. Chondrus crispus also called carrageen, species of red algae grows abundantly along the rocky parts of the Atlantic coast cold waters. 

Chondrus Crispus is a seaweed that contains elements essential to the human body, and is packed with calcium, iodine, potassium, Vitamins, iron, iodine, and minerals. 

It works well as a thickening agent in cakes, ice cream or are many things that you consume. Add to you smoothies, porridge, desserts, gravies, drinks, soups. We recommend turning into a gel base.
